New Delhi, Oct 28: The meeting between Samajwadi Party leader, Shivpal Yadav and Congress poll strategist, Prashant Kishor at the residence of a Janata Dal (U) leader has created a lot of speculation.
There is already a lot of speculation about the formation of a Grand Alliance ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections.
The meeting between Shivpal and Kishor took place at the residence of JD(U) leader, K C Tyagi on Wednesday. Following the meeting, there has been speculation rife about the possibility of talks with the Congress for the formation of a grand alliance.
The rumours of a grand alliance were however rubbished by all. Tyagi in fact told CNN-News 18 that the meeting was just co-incidental. He also said Shivpal visited his home at a time when Kishore was present. He had only come with an invitation for the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the SP, Tyagi also said.
Shivpal who indicated a few days back about the formation of a grand alliance. On whether the Congress would be part of the grand alliance, he said that the call would be taken by Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav).
