"By issuing the list of corrupt leaders, Kejriwal has tried to project himself as the only honest person while branding all others as corrupt. Such a belief and view can only be that of a very immature leader," SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said in a statement.
Kejriwal tried to project himself as the only honest person in India
"Such a statement only goes on to prove degradation in politics that anyone can say whatever he likes for a senior and experienced politician," Chaudhary said.
Kejriwal had issued a list of political leaders against whom AAP would field candidates on various counts including corruption and criminalisation of politics.
SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's name also figured in the list. Defending Mulayam, Chaudhary said before putting his name in the list, Kejriwal should have known that he has a long history of public service and has not used politics as a means to power.
Kejriwal has been in politics for merely few months and he has only indulged in "anarchic politics" and has made no positive contribution in it, Chaudhary said, adding that till now Kejriwal has only used politics as a means to further his personal ambitions.
Stressing that Kejriwal's drama was not going to last long, he said that everyone was aware of the charges against him of illegally taking foreign funds for his NGO.
