Lucknow, Feb 20: We don't know what was going inside the mind of Samajwadi Party leader Rajendra Chaudhary when he called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah 'terrorists' on Sunday.

Addressing the media, Chaudhury said both the senior leaders of the BJP were terrorists and spreading terror in democracy.

"Both Modi and Shah are terrorists; they are spreading terror in democracy. (Narendra Modi aur Amit Shah dono aatankwaadi hain, aatank paida kar rahe hain loktantra mein," Chaudhary said.

Chaudhary added that both the BJP leaders are polluting the 'atmospher' in UP with their tirades.

On Sunday, the third phase for polling in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections got over. Four more phases of polling in the state are scheduled in the coming days. As a part of the UP polls, PM Modi and his party colleague Shah are extensively campaigning in the state. In most of their rallies, both the BJP senior leaders targeted the ruling SP for its misgovernance and rise in crime rates in the state. They are also attacking the Congress which has forged an alliance with the SP for the assembly polls.

After Sunday's rally of PM Modi in Fatehpur, UP, where he allegedly made communal remarks, the opposition Congress wants the Election Commission to take appropriate action against him for violation of the model code of conduct.
