National Herald Scam: Setback for Swamy, Sonia, Rahul granted bail

New Delhi, Dec 19: Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are expected to reach Patiala House court around 3:00 pm today (Saturday, Dec 19). The President and Vice President of Congress party have been summoned by the court in connection with National Herald Scam case.

The court asked the two leaders to appear before the court during the hearing of the case filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.

"And today you read the papers how the government went out of the way to give Swamy Z category security and a government residence. Swamy is not a Parliamentarian, not in a border state where there is terrorism, nor has he fought terrorism. If he has been given these perks it has been a reward for dragging Congress leaders to court," he said.
