Sonia also dismissed the Gujarat Model of development saying that there was a lot of difference between what was being projected and the actual reality. "40 per cent of Gujarat is thirsty, children are malnutritioned," she said.
"Congress has never shown any discrimination against any citizen of the country, everyone is same for us," she said.
Sonia said that when someone starts doing anything to grab the PM's chair, we need to think whether we will be able to sustain democracy or not. "Can democracy be safe in the hands of one single person," she asked.
Sonia will later arrive in Amethi and will campaign for Rahul Gandhi.She will then reach Rae Bareli, where she will campaign on April 26.
