Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 21: A woman, who hails from Kerala, decided to sue Congress government of the state. The woman, who has been identified as Daisy Sunny, claimed that her photo has been featured in a Congress ad without her consent.

Daisy, mother of two, was shocked to discover her photo on Congress's Nirbhaya Fund ad which recently has been launched by Congress President Sonia Gandhi during her maiden visit to the state.

Congress seems to have fallen in a serious trouble with one of its dream project -- Nirbhaya Keralam Surakshitha Keralam, a project of the state government to ensure the dignity and safety of women. The ad, which appeared on many newspapers in Kerala, featured Daisy with two other kids.

Daisy claimed that she was not aware of any such ad campaign and failed to recall from where her photo was taken. Daisy was quoted as saying, "How can someone put my photo without my consent? My husband was a CPM worker and after his death it was with the help of the party we could survive. We will take legal action against this; I want to know how they have got my photo and how they printed it without my knowledge."

Daisy's brother-in-law informed that their family members have been considering to file a defamation case against the Kerala government. Meanwhile, calling the incident "unfortunate", Kerala Minister of Information and Public Relations KC Joseph said a probe has been ordered.

Investigation report will be submitted on Friday. The preliminary report by the Public relations Director states that the photo was placed un-intentionally but without taking her consent.
