Singer, music composer Aadesh Shrivastava passes away
Mumbai, Sept 5: Singer and music composer Aadesh Shrivastava who was battling a relapsed cancer, passed away on Friday at age of 49 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
The renowned music composer was diagnosed with cancer and admitted in Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital last week.
Doctors had stopped chemotherapy on the critically ill music composer as they had already given up on him, his wife Vijayata Pandit told media on Wednesday, Sept 2.

Describing the relapse, Vijayata said,"We had gone to America and had just returned when he suddenly started bleeding from his nose. It wouldn't stop. We rushed him to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. That's been his home for the last month. I am running from hospital to residence all day long trying to remain sane even as the doctors have given up on him."
Speaking of the emotional turmoil that their children are going through, Vijayata said," They are still children. To see their father in this condition.... Even as I speak to you, one of the boys is in the hospital with his father. Our children's lives are torn apart."
