Singer Abhijeet's family safe at Brussels airport after twin blasts
Mumbai, Mar 22: Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya on Tuesday said that his wife and son were safe at the Brussels airport where two explosions were reported killing 11 and injuring many.
Abhijeet wrote on Twitter: "#Brussels jst spoke to my wife n son at #BrusselsAirport..They r bn evacuated to a safe zone God is great.. Thx @jetairways."

Meanwhile, Jet Airways too issued a statement following the explosions stating, "We are aware of the bomb explosion at Brussels airport. Jet airways is making all efforts to confirm the status of all its staff and guests. As per first information, Jet airways aircraft in Brussels is safe."
Twin blasts ripped through the Brussels airport and shortly after another blast was reported at the Maelbeek Metro station, which is located near European Union.
So far 11 people were reported dead in the attacks. The death toll is expected to rise further.
