New Delhi, April 9: A man hurled shoe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a live news press conference on Saturday. Man who has been idetified as Ved Prakash reportedly belonged to Aam Aadmi Sena Party.
The shocking incident took place while Kejriwal was about to start his press conference for Odd Even programme, starting from April 15 in the national capital.
The man alleged that fake CNG stickers were being distributed in Delhi ahead of the Odd-Even vehicular scheme. Ved Prakash claimed that he had CDs of a sting operation done by him.
The shoe missed the target and the man was taken into custody by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers.
This is not the first time AAP chief has been targetted. Earlier in January, a woman had smeared ink on Kejriwal while latter was addressing a speech on the success of Odd-Even scheme at Chhatrasal stadium.
