New Delhi, Jan 13: At a time when India-Pakistan relations are facing tough time with ceasefire violations at the border, this news will further vitiate the tension between these two neighbouring countries.

Reportedly, incumbent Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was well aware of the whole plan of 1993 serial blast, which shook Mumbai, the financial capital of India.

Nawaz approved 1993 Mumbai blasts?

According to a India TV report, Pakistani Prime Minister not only knew about the misdemeanour, but he was the one who actually approved the dastardly attack on India.

This startling revelation has been made by former diplomat Rajiv Dogra in his book titled " Where Borders Bleed". Dogra, who was posted in Karachi as Consul General of India from 1992 to 1994 said that he got this shocking information from a very reputed Supreme Court judge of Pakistan.

Apart from this, former diplomat in his book has also written about Nawaz Sharif's double standards to improve relations with India. Book says, on one hand Sharif was welcoming the then Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to Lahore while on the other hand he was facilitating Pakistani soldiers to infiltrate in the Kargil sector.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently tried his best to minimize old animosity between two countries by inviting Sharif in his swearing-in ceremony. But it seems, Pakistan doesn't want to improve relations and big proof of this is Pakistan's audacity to meet separatists in spite of India's stern warning.

Not only that, instead of acting tough on terrorists, Pakistan Government maintains lackadaisical approach to defang wanted terrorists like Lakhvi and Hafiz Saheed. Instead, Sharif Government keeps on helping them on one pretex or the other.

With this shocking revelation coming to fore, Pakistan owes a lot to answer.
