Shocking: 5-year-old girl’s private parts burnt for urinating on bed

Bhopal, Jan 21: In a heart-rending incident, caretaker of a shelter home in Bajaria area of Bhopal burnt the private parts of a 5-year-old girl, for urinating on bed while sleeping at night.

The incident took place in a Government funded shelter home ‘Ladli Aashray grah'.

A case has been registered against the caretaker in Bajaria police station and the police have launched a manhunt for her.

According to Times of India report, the victim's family admitted her in the shelter home along with her 7-year-old sister on December 1 last year. The poor family often visited the hostel to meet the girls.

On January 17, the family took them home and spotted burn marks on her younger girl's private parts after which the matter was reported to police. Her mother noticed the injuries while the 5-year-old girl was taking bath. When asked about it, the minor then explained her mother how she was tortured, said the report.

The accused hostel employee, Kalawati has not been arrested yet. Police have registered a case under section 324 of IPC (voluntary causing hurt).
