Sheena Bora Murder Case: What happened when police took Indrani Mukerjea to her home

Mumbai, Sept 7: Mumbai Police tried to recreate the crime scene in connection with the sensational Sheena Bora murder case.

Hence, the investigating team took Indrani Mukerjea to those places where she allegedly had gone after kidnapping and killing Sheena.

Mumbai Police took Indrani Mukerjea to her residence

Mumbai Police sources informed that Indrani on Sunday, Sept 6 was first taken toto Linking Road, opposite National College in Bandra, where she reportedly allegedly kidnapped Sheena.

After reaching the Linking Road, police questioned Indrani at least for 10 minutes. Later cops took her to her Worli residence in the city.

According to reports, Indrani helped the cops to recreate the crime scene as she divulged all details -- where did they pick up Sheena and how did they kill Sheena and took the body to the garage that day with the help of driver Shyam Rai.

Indrani Mukerjea, wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, was the main accused in Sheena Bora murder case. She along with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna, driver Shyam Rai allegedly kidnapped and killed Sheena.

The trio allegedly had kidnapped and killed Sheena in April 2012. A day after, they allegedly disposed of the body in a jungle in Raigad, near Mumbai.

Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Sidhdharth Das. Sheena and Indrani reportedly had a turbulent relationship.

Indrani had introduced Sheena to Peter as her sister. During the investigation, Peter informed police that he came to know the reality only when police arrested Indrani from her Mumbai residence.

Indrani had told everyone that Sheena had gone to US for further studies. She also showed her photographs. Indrani allegedly sent emails from a fake mail id which was created on Sheena's name.
