Mumbai, Nov 19: Bringing more trouble for Indrani Mukerjea, a forensic examination report has been submitted on Thursday, Nov 19.
The report confirmed that the body, which was found from a jungle in Raigadh near Mumbai, belonged to Sheena Bora, who allegedly was killed by Indrani Mukerjea and her aides.
According to sources, three different forensic tests were conducted by AIIMS officials in Delhi and reports confirmed that the charred remains collected from the Raigadh did indeed belong to Sheena Bora.
It was reported that in the first DNA test, Indrani's blood sample matched with the protein extract taken from Sheena's bone.
For the second test, a 3-D superimposition imaging of Sheena's features was conducted on the samples that conclusively proved that the remains were that of Sheena's.
The third and final test proved that the probable cause of death of Sheena was strangulation.
Investigative agency the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to submit chargesheet in next few days.
23-year-old Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das. Later Indrani married TV honcho Peter Mukerjea but did not disclose Sheena's real identity.
It has been speculated that Sheena might have blackmailed Indrani, hence, she (Indrani) allegedly killed Sheena. Indrani took help from her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai.
All three accused in the Sheena Bora murder case were arrested by Mumbai Police in Aug 2015. They were sent to judicial custody.
