According to media reports, Indrani and Sanjeev believed that making plans to kill Sheena would be more safe if they use Skype rather than using mobile phones.

While chatting via Skype, the calling service, Sanjeev allegedly had suggested to kill Sheena in the flat in which she used to stay with her boyfriend, Rahul Mukerjea.

Sanjeev and Indrani had thought that they would put the blame on Rahul. But they dismissed the plan as they feared that someone from the same building might recognise them later and police might trap them.

According to their second plan, Indrani allegedly suggested to kill Sheena at her Worli residence in Mumbai. Indrani allegedly told Sanjeev that she would call her daughter to her residence when her husband Peter Mukerjea would be out of station.

However, Sanjeev allegedly rejected the idea stating that this plan might brought them into police net. After a long discussion, finally, it was decided that they would kill Sheena in a car and would burn her body later.

It has been reported that Indrani and Sanjeev had followed their last plan and killed Sheena in a car and later disposed off her body in a jungle in Raigad, near Mumbai.

Three years after the gruesome murder of Sheena Bora, Mumbai Police arrested Indrani, Sanjeev and Indrani's driver. The trio were the main accused in the case.
