Police found all the messages abd obscene clips stored in his mobile phone, which also included the message sent to the complainant.

Khalid confessed that he used to make random calls on Delhi NCR mobile numbers and if they were picked by women or a girl, he would save their number and start sending them messages. The police team said that the complainant received the messages from two phone numbers, which were registered with fake phone numbers and addresses.

Khalid had first tried to evade the police, but later confessed to the crime. He told the police that he was frustrated that he was not married and that his friends got married and were having children. It was found that cases were registered against him in Gurgaon (Haryana) and Uttam Nagar, Ashok Vihar and Usmanpur (all in Delhi). Complaints were also lodged in women's helpline numbers. Some victims did not come forward with a complaint as Khalid had threatened to malign their name if they revealed anything to anybody.
