New Delhi, May 7: After Salman Khan was pronounced guilty in the 2002 hit-and-run case, the whole Bollywood fraternityy expressed deep solidarity with the actor.
Not only Bollywood, even the politicians gave their opinions about the 'Dabang' Khan being sentenced to five years imprisonment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
"My policy is not2comment on judicial verdicts in private matters, but a tragic mishap doesn't make @BeingSalmanKhan any less of a good man," Tharoor tweeted and said.
Meanwhile, social activist and advocate Abha Singh said, "Let it work for other cases too...The cases, which are pending in the court, and the people are frustrated due to delayed hearing would benefit."
The 49-year-old actor has been granted interim bail till Friday.
Superstar Aamir Khan visited close friend Salman Khan on Thursday. The "Andaz Apna Apna" co-stars' brotherhood is a known fact in Bollywood and among fans.
From promoting each other's films to showering praise on one another, Aamir and Salman do not leave a chance to display their bonding.
Several other celebrities like Sonakshi Sinha, Preity Zinta, Daisy Shah, Prem Chopra, Suniel Shetty, Pulkit Samrat, Nikhil Dwivedi met the "Kick" actor last evening.
Salman's foe-turned-friend superstar Shah Rukh Khan spent over an hour at his house on the eve of the verdict.
The court's verdict will affect the release of Salman's forthcoming releases Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Kareena Kapoor and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with Sonam Kapoor.
