Lucknow, March 7: Last year, Sadhna Yadav, second wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav, was blamed to be one of the main conspirators causing rift between father Mulayam and son Akhilesh Yadav during the Samajwadi Party family feud.

All this while, we did not hear anything from Sadhna. Finally, she has decided to break her silence, as the mega-election in Uttar Pradesh is coming to an end on March 8.

Sadhna Yadav

Speaking to ANI, Sadhna said that her husband did not allow her to join mainstream politics. However, she always worked in the background. "Netaji ne nahi aane diya, par haan background mein kaam karte rahe: Sadhna Yadav(wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav) on entry into politics," tweeted ANI.

"Now, I don't want to enter politics, but yes I would like my son Prateek (second son of Mulayam) to enter politics," she added. Regarding the SP war, Sadhna said she felt bad about it. "Yes, I feel bad after what happened in the family, I don't blame anyone."

She clarified that she regularly speaks to her stepson, these days. "I have been more in conversation with Akhilesh since January 1, than I have been in the last 5 years." Mulayam's second wife said that she wants the party to win the assembly polls and her stepson to become the CM again. "I want our party to win again and Akhilesh to become CM again."

However, in subtle way Sadhna warned Akhilesh as why the incumbent UP CM should not disrespect Mulayam. "No matter what, nobody should have disrespected Netaji, it is he who founded and nurtured the party. Akhilesh should not have insulted Shivpal Yadav (Mulayam's brother). He was not at fault. He has done a lot for Netaji and the party."

She also said that she was clueless as who 'misled' Akhilesh. "I don't know who misled Akhilesh, he respects Netaji and I a lot." Sadhna added that she won't backtrack further as she had been insulted a lot. "Ab hum peeche nahi hatenge, mera bohot apmaan hua hai."
