"RSS activist's killers had Indian Mujahideen, PFI links"

The Home Minister of Karnataka, Dr G Parameshwar told the assembly that in the past three years, nine persons associated with either the BJP or RSS have been murdered.

Bengaluru, Dec 2: The recent murder of RSS worker Rudresh in Bengaluru is being investigated and according to the government the accused persons have links with the Indian Mujahideen, SDPI, PFI and al-Ummah.

The Home Minister of Karnataka, Dr G Parameshwar told the assembly that in the past three years, nine persons associated with either the BJP or RSS have been murdered. The minister assured that the BJP and RSS workers would be given security, if they wanted it.

He said that the suspects in the recent murder case of RSS worker, Rudresh are said to have links with SDPI, PFI, Indian Mujahideen and Al Ummah of Tamil Nadu.

He further informed that the suspect in the murder case of Raju, a Mysuru based RSS activist the accused are in judicial custody.

The home minister also said that in the other cases, investigations had learnt that the killings were due to personal reason. He emphasised that the state police was probing into all the cases and the accused would be brought to justice.
