The petition states that since the Supreme Court had found Jayalalithaa guilty in the disproportionate assets case, her photographs cannot be displayed in state owned buildings and also welfare schemes launched by Tamil Nadu. The SC while holding Jayalalithaa guilty had however abated the sentence in the event of her death.
