Removal of AIIMS CVO: Kejriwal slams Centre
New Delhi, Aug 22: Aam Aadmi Party founder and chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday slammed the Union government over the removal of Sanjeev Chaturvedi from the post of chief vigilance officer (CVO) of AIIMS.

"BJP's real agenda is out in the open," said Kejriwal in a press conference. He had on Thursday demanded resignation of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan over the issue. The CBI must investigate the issue, demanded Kejriwal.

The BJP had on Thursday said Chaturvedi was ineligible to hold the post and there was no witch-hunting or victimisation in the matter.

Chaturvedi is a 2002-batch Indian Forest Service officer. He was removed from his post last week with the Health Ministry citing no reason for it.
