Bengaluru, July 29: Budget carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday, July 29, announced monsoon sale to "red, hot, spicy destinations" at Rs 999 only ((taxes and fees not included).
Sale duration is from Tuesday, July 28 to Thursday, July 30, 2015. Travel period is from August 4, 2015 to October,15, 2015. [SpiceJet shares continue to fly high; gain 6.5%]
The sale is for limited duration only for travel on direct (non-stop) flights on its domestic network.
Tickets under this offer are non-refundable (taxes and fees are refundable), though changes are permitted for Rs.2,000/- plus fare difference, if any.
"For a limited time customers who book their tickets via the SpiceJet mobile app available for download on App Store or Google Play Store can also receive 50% off on pre-booked meals that they book through the app", the airlines aid in its press release.
Under the offer, seats will be available on First-Come-First-Served basis.
Sales fares are not applicable on group bookings. Fares vary from sector to sector depending on the route, flight, time of day, and day of week, and flight schedules and timings are subject to regulatory approvals and change(s).
Select examples of routes available at the starting fare of Rs 999/- one-way plus taxes include: Bengaluru-Kochi, Delhi-Udaipur, Kolkata-Agartala, Pune-Goa, Amritsar-Srinagar, Hyderabad-Goa, Mumbai-Belgaum, Kolkata-Guwahati, Chennai-Vizag, and so on.
Dozens of more routes are on sale at the next higher fare brackets of Rs 1099, Rs 1299, Rs 1399, Rs 1499, Rs 1899, Rs 2099, and so on (not including taxes).
