Shiv Sena Member of Parliament Ravindra Gaikwad who had a bad run with Air India after he assaulted one of their staff took a flight from Hyderabad to Delhi on Thursday. He flew business class on a 4 pm flight on Thursday from Hyderabad.
It was his choice to fly Air India and the Shiv Sena MP from Osmanabad, Maharashtra completed his journey incident free. The MP was in the news after he assaulted an Air India staffer last month. Air India and other airlines had taken serious objection to the incident and barred him from flying.
Earlier this month the Indian Airlines Federation had lifted the ban. However, Gaikwad who refused to apologise did not board any flight immediately after the ban was lifted. He travelled to Delhi by train a few times after the ban was lifted.
