Badaun gangrape: Paswan meets families
Badaun (UP), June 2: Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and his son Chirag Paswan visited Badaun village and met the families of the victims who were gangraped here last week.

Paswan visited the kin of the victims and said that he would submit a report to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Speaking to reporters here, Paswan said: "This is a shooking incident and people are scared."

Hitting out at UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, Ram Vilas Paswan said that 'it was sad that the UP CM hasn't even met the families of the victims. "The UP CM is either scared of the people's reaction or is downplaying the incident," he said.

"There should be instant justice in the Badaun rape case," he said. He also said that the Badaun rape case will be taken up in the Cabinet today.

Earlier Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had met the families of the victims on Saturday and had demanded a CBI investigation in the case.
