Bengaluru, Dec 3: Chennai rains broke all records this time. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday, Dec 3 announced that at least 269 people died due to heavy rains and flood in the capital city of Tamil Nadu.

IMD Department predicted that the city may experience heavy rains for the next three days. Army has been deployed to rescue people in the city.
