Rahul Gandhi yet to fulfill promises
Jagdalpur, Sept 24: No, its not really food we are talking about, but an entire village in Jagdalpur is waiting since 2008 (when Congress's 'promising' leader Rahul Gandhi visited the village, ate out of their plates, stayed at their homes and made promises) for their dreams to be fulfilled.

Healthcare, education, electricity and employment are certain things that are taken up by the state government, but why is Jamwad village (in the BJP-ruled state) blaming Rahul Gandhi?

Apparently, its been long since the youth leader has forgotten his commitments towards the village and has never looked back ever since he left. Precisely why the situation remains the same.

The very houses that had hosted him complain, "He promised us employment for at least hundred days a year. I still frequent the town to make ends meet," said Palki. Her husband Mangtu has a precarious financial condition since he lost his parents.

Another man complained that though the government opened healthcare centers and hospitals, there are no doctors. Schools too are under-staffed with no teachers and students leave school just after class 5.

Calling the state unit of Congress is no use as they put the blame on the Raman Singh Government, as per the dailyBhaskar.com report.

"We have allocated funds for works in that village. A Congress delegation had even visited there after Rahulji's visit. It is because BJP who is not passing the funds for developmental work at local level that benefits haven't been passed on to locals," said Dr Charandas Mahant, state president of Congress.

Rahulji, its pay-back time for you now!
