Rahul skips Manmohan's' farewell dinner hosted by Sonia
Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur was also present in the dinner party at which Singh was felicitated by Sonia Gandhi. The dinner party was hosted at Sonia's 10 Janpath residence. Union ministers and Congress general secretaries were among those present at the dinner.
Congress MP Ajay Maken said Rahul had met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday. Sources say he is not in the country currently.
Singh will submit his resignation to President Pranab Mukherjee on May 17, one day after the poll results are out.
Manmohan Singh had On Jan 3 addressed his final press conference and announced his retirement.
