Just after arriving at the Amausi airport, he interacted with a group of editors at a five-star hotel. He then met the Aanganwadi workers and cooks at midday meals at Chinhat in Lucknow.
While his women empowerment agenda has become the center stage of all discussions, he won a lot of hearts here too.
"Know your worth and the worth of your work. Unless and until you practice that yourself, no one else is going to realize that. The states that have undermined their women stand nowhere in terms of progress and development," he said.
He listened to their woes carefully and addressd them on a case to case basis. After the meeting, he is likely to fly to Mirzapur on March 1 and will address a public rally. He will then drive to Varanasi where he will hold a meeting with rickshaw pullers. [Full report]
