Ex-servicemen from all districts of Punjab will attend the meet and share dinner with Rahul, he said. Punjab was the biggest beneficiary of the one rank one pension scheme as the highest number of ex-servicemen live here, Bajwa said, adding that Rahul had taken personal interest in issue and persuaded UPA government to implement the scheme.
A total of 14 lakh retired and 25 lakh serving army personnel in India will get benefits of scheme, he said.

Kolkata, Feb 21: The West Bengal Assembly today remembered martyrs who laid down their lives to protect Bengali as a national language during the Bengali Language Movement of 1952 in East Pakistan now Bangladesh.
