"Every year the old report card is repackaged and presented as new one by Nitish Kumar," Rabri Devi, wife of incarcerated RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, said addressing a party parivartan rally here on 8th report card presented by CM.
"In the past Atal Bihari Vajpayee had lost power in the name of India Shining slogan, the same way Nitish Kumar will go out propagating Bihar shinning," she said. Rubbishing claims of the CM on development, Rabri Devi, who is steering the party in the absence of jailed Lalu Prasad, said fact remained there was rampant corruption in the state and bureaucracy calling the shots.
Rabri: Development under Nitish Kumar is visible only in TV channels
Addressing a public meeting at Meenapur High School campus in Muzaffarpur, she said "the development under Nitish Kumar is visible only in TV channels and newspapers."
Describing Kumar as a "weak" CM, she said Lalu Prasad had ensured that communal forces were kept off from Bihar but Kumar is allowing a "communal" leader like Narendra Modi in the state.
Addressing the crowd during parivartan rally, she said Lalu Prasad has fallen to the "conspiracy" of rivals and would soon be out. Echoing similar views, LJP President Ramvilas Paswan, in partnership with RJD in Bihar, also rejected all claims of development under Nitish Kumar.
Paswan sought to know from Kumar about his stand if Narendra Modi failed and BJP put forward name of L K Advani for Prime Ministerial post. Former Union minister and senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh said that war on communal forces has been declared for which every party worker - right from panchayat to district level - have to be prepared for fight.
