Punjab Terror Attack: Indians enraged; Twitter flooded with furious comments on Gurdaspur
Chandigarh, July 27: After a day-long gun battle between police and terrorists, the operation to nutrialise the terrorists at Gurdaspur, Punjab came to an end on Monday, July 27.
At least seven police officials were killed. Punjab Police Commando gunned down all three terrorists who attacked a police station in Gurdaspur on Monday morning.

Home Ministry officials informed that the terrorists had tried to snatch a van from a man but later got hold of a small car and drove it to the police station complex early on Monday morning.

Divulging the details of the terror attack, the home ministry official was quoted as saying, "When they (terrorists) entered the police station, only three or four policemen including the SHO were there. Terrorists first fired at the policeman guarding the station. Another policeman, on hearing the shots, came out and fired at the terrorists."

Officials also hinted that it might be Lashkar which have carried out the deadly terror attack. The terror attack enraged everyone across the country.
