RJD leader and former deputy CM of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, told reporters that all those who opposed the BJP and Nitish will hold dharnas and burn effigies across the state on Thursday.
Nitish tendered his resignation over the issue of resignation of Tejashwi. In fact, the soon to be sworn-in CM of Bihar wanted Tejashwi to resign from his cabinet after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) booked him on corruption charges.
However, RJD supremo and father of Tejashwi, Lalu Prasad Yadav, did not honour Nitish's desire, which ultimately resulted in the disintegration of the Grand Alliance or Mahagathbandhan.
It is not just the RJD supporters who are protesting against Nitish's latest decision to go with the BJP, JD (U) MP Ali Anwar said that his conscience did not allow him to go with the BJP.
He added that he can't support Nitish's decision. "I will voice my opinion in the party if I get an opportunity," Ali said.
