Project Parrikar as PM not Narendra Modi, AAP tells BJP

AAP dares BJP to name Parrikar as PM
Panaji, Jan 13: The BJP should have the guts to make Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and not Narendra Modi its prime ministerial candidate if the party believes in simplicity, the Goa unit of Aam Aadmi Party demanded on Monday.

The demand came a day after Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi praised Parrikar for his simplicity at a public rally in Goa on Sunday.

"If the BJP has the guts and believes in simplicity, then they should replace Modi with Parrikar as their candidate for PM," AAP spokesperson Dinesh Waghela said here.

Narendra Modi in his rally took an indirect dig at the AAP saying that 'people have to decide, whether faces seen on the television will do the job or those working on ground.'

After Modi's rally there were reactions from various political parties including Congress, that objected to Modi's 'Jayanthi Tax' comment.
