Probe against T T V Dinakaran widens: Jaya's lawyer called in for questioning
The probe into the EC bribery case in which T T V Dinakaran is an accused is widening. B Kumar, Jayalalithaa's advocate has reached the office of the Delhi Crime Branch at Chanakyapuri and is being questioned. Delhi police sources were however mum on the exact role that Kumar had played.
Kumar who handled almost all Jayalalithaa's cases was present at the crime branch on Monday as well. Kumar had gone into the room when Dinakaran was being questioned. On Tuesday Kumar, Dinakaran, Janardhana, Mallikarjuna and Sukesh Chandrasekar will be questioned by the crime branch. Janardhan and Mallikarjuna are friends of Dinakaran.
Dinakaran was questioned at around 6 pm on Monday during which he confessed to have meeting Sukesh who had posed as a high court judge. Sukesh had promised to get him the AIADMK symbol by bribing EC officials.
