Speculations ahead of PM's press meet
PM is likely to address several issues including inflation, corruption, and the list the achievements of the UPA government in the last decade.
In the meet which comes ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the PM may list achievements of the UPA during its tenure in the last 10 years in the area of economic growth, employment generation and foreign policy in the press conference.
He might announce his decision to step down to make way for Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Reportedly, he has informed the party leadership that he would prefer to mentor Rahul Gandhi for the post of PM. This meet is likely to see the announcement of Rahul Gandhi as the party's prime minister candidate.
