Srinagar, Feb 8:Pressure seems to be mounting on the Omar Abdullah-led J&K government for the arrest of Health Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan who has been charged with the molestation of a female doctor. Although he has stepped down from his post, the doctors' association demand further action and are demanding corporeal punishment for the minister.

The FIR that has been lodged against Khan clearly shows his involvement in the molestation case. The police has sprung into action immediately as it has started interrogating the staff of the Winter Secretariat where the incident took place.

Several raids have also been conducted at several places of the minister and it is evident that he did try to move bail in the Jammu court.

Khan is charged for the molestation of the doctor whom he had forced to come down to the secretariat on the pretext of getting some information. The woman clearly stated that she started feeling uncomfortable when the minister started making advances towards her and she left the office quickly, according to a report IBN-Live.
