Prepare time-bound development roadmap for Bikaner: Raje
The chief minister is camping at Gajner Palace here as part of the program. Raje in discussions with state government officials deliberated on several development-related issues like Kotgate Railway Crossing, Soorsagar Botanical Park, Rangmanch, inauguration of Chaukhuti Over Bridge, among others.
Raje held interaction with the people of the 'Nath' community living in the 21-house hamlet, which has been electrified under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission. Raje visited the house of one Lakad Nath and had a chat with women. The villagers apprised the Chief Minister of water scarcity in the area, taking note of which she directed officials to address the problem and make arrangement for drinking water.
Additional Chief Secretary Administrative Reforms Department Rakesh Verma, Principal Secretary Finance Subhash Garg, Divisional Commissioner Subir Kumar and District Collector of Bikaner Aarti Dogra and other senior officials were present in the meeting. Late last night, Raje suddenly arrived at Lubasar village in Kolayat Tehsil of the district, and walked up to huts of villagers to meet people. She enquired about their basic problems which they were facing, the statement said.
