Pratyusha Banerjee death: Rahul Raj Singh's anticipatory bail plea rejected
Mumbai, Apr 7: A day after Rahul Raj Singh's lawyer withdrew from the case surrounding the death of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, a court rejected Rahul's anticipatory bail plea.
Pratyusha's lawyer spoke to merdia persons and said: "Rahul's bail plea has been rejected. It's abetment of suicide or murder that yet to be probed."

Mumbai Police booked Singh for abetment of suicide in Ptaryusha Banerjee's suicide. However, it is still not clear whether the Mumbai Police will arrest Rahul or not.
Meanwhile, Rahul's lawyer will move High Court, seeking bail.
Rahul's previous lawyer Neeraj Gupta withdrew from the case stating that his client was not being honest to him. "I withdrew from the case on humanitarian grounds. I felt that I shouldn't be fighting the case, and hence left it be so that injustice is not done to anyone."

He also added that Rahul had kept him in the dark about many things and did not reveal all the details to him regarding the case.
Earlier on Thursday it was revealed that Rahul has criminal records and had duped women in the past. Women have come forward with stories of how Rahul used to befriend them and later con them of lakhs of rupees.
