The pictures of the poster have gone viral online, putting the party in an embarrassing position. Munde was a top leader in BJP and was even considered to the post of Maharashtra chief minister.
Poster goof-ups aren't new in Tamil Nadu. Last year a private firm put up a poster paying respects to Nelson Mandela, in which Morgan Freeman's photo was used instead of Mandela's.
