Post Attack on AAP chief: 'Arvind Kejriwal will do anything for publicity'

New Delhi, Jan 14: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday alleged that the AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will do 'anything for publicity.'

BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi while reacting to 'eggs being thrown at Arvind Kejriwal at a rally in Delhi' said it might be possible that this was well planned as Kejriwal will do anything to get publicity.

"I maintain that AAP was set up by the

. They have set up this game. Either somebody who was disillusioned by AAP did it or it can be a setting between AAP and the Congress," she told ANI.

BJP's Delhi unit chief, Satish Upadhyay, also alleged that the incident was 'well-planned'.

"This has been happening to Arvind Kejriwal since a very long time. These are all planned," said Upadhyay.

On Wednesday, while Kejriwal was addressing a rally in Delhi, an unidentified man threw eggs and a stone at the AAP leader. The man threw the eggs and the stone and fled from the scene. However, Kejriwal escaped unhurt.

Inspite of the incident, Kejriwal continued with his speech and said: "If the BJP and the Congress think that we will be silenced by stones, they have no idea what we are made of." He added and said that parties were rattled and hence it is best to ignore them.
