Ahmedabad, March 6: A day after he was detained in the state, the Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal today resumed his tour with almost 10 police jeeps escorting his vehicle.

On Wednesday, Kejriwal's car was attacked by unidentified men.

The Gujarat police have filed an FIR and formed two teams to nab the men who smashed the windscreen of the Aam Aadmi Party leader's car when he was travelling through Kutch

Kejriwal was shown black flag throughout the journey and according to sources, attackers shouted slogans in Narendra Modi's name.

In order to prevent more untoward incidents, police jeeps joined his convoy on Thursday for more security.

On Wednesday, Kejriwal alleged that the police were constantly reporting his movements to "someone" on the phone. "When I visited a hospital in Sami, someone from my team told me that the police officers with me were reporting my movements to someone over the phone," Kejriwal said. "I then got a call from a journalist saying I would be stopped in the next town and not be allowed to go on."

Another AAP leader Manish Sisodia too alleged the same on Twitter.

"Day 2 in Gujarat-state police is spying on me.Troubling, questioning, threatening people I'm meeting since last evening "
