PM Narendra Modi to draw Rs 1.6 lakh per month salary
According to a CNN IBN report, his basic salary will be Rs 50,000, with a sumptuary allowance of Rs 3,000, a daily allowance of Rs 62,000, and constituency allowance of Rs 45,000.
As per an RTI query in 2013 regarding Indian prime minister's salary, it was revealed that the PM also receives perks like personal staff, special jet, government residence, and much more.
According to the SPG Act, India's Prime Minister and members of his immediate family are provided security cover by the elite commando group who are specially trained in VIP security.
