Pics: When PM Narendra Modi became star as state governors rushed to meet him in Delhi

New Delhi, June 11: Ever since Narendra Modi became the 15th Prime Minister of India, speculations have been doing the rounds that he may remove at least five governors appointed during the UPA regime like the preceding government did to those appointed during the NDA regime. However, the speculations have not turned into reality yet for anyone.

State Governors, who were appointed by the UPA government, have been visiting Modi at the official residence of the Prime Minister -- 7RCR in New Delhi. West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan, Jharkhand Governor Shri Syed Ahmed, Odisha Governor Shri SC Jamir, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt Gen (Rtd) Nirbhay Sharma, Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri Shekhar Dutt were few among them.

While Chief Ministers of a few states, such as West Bengal, Jammu Kashmir and many others are yet to visit 7RCR, Governors of the states did not forgot to meet the prime minister. [Pics: CMs meet PM Narendra Modi at 7RCR but Mamata Banerjee still an exception]

Official Twitter account of the Prime Minister Office (PMO) posted pictures of Modi's meeting with Governors of different states across the country.
