PM Narendra Modi beats drum in Meghalaya
Shillong, May 28: After showing his drumming skiils in Japan in 2014,Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried his hands at drum during an event orgainsed in his honour on his arrival at Mawphlang village in Meghalaya on Saturday.
PM Modi took part actively in cultural dance and interacted with locals during his maiden visit to the state.
PM Narendra Modi laid foundation stone for new football stadium 'Ampati' in Shillong on Friday. He also flagged off new passenger trains for northeast.
His visit to the state come soon after the NDA government completed two years in office. PM highlighted the achievements of the government during the visit to the state.
