PM Modi’s wax statue to be unveiled in London today
New Delhi, Apr 28: The world famous Madame Tussauds museum, is set to unveil the wax statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in London today.
The wax statue of PM Modi was installed at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok last week.
His wax statue was displayed in New Delhi before being taken to London for its unveiling. PM Modi's statue has been dressed in his signature statement: kurta pyjama and a Nehru jacket.
PM will join other political leaders at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong including US President Barack Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping among others.
"What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing," SAID pm Modi while praising the artist.
Madame Tussauds to come up at Regal Building
Modi was involved in the creation of the wax statue right from the beginning and was pleased with the final results when he came face to face with the wax figurine earlier this week at a private viewing, a statement from Madame Tussauds said.
Apart from politicians Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif have also been waxed in the iconic museum.
