PM Modi meets service chiefs
New Delhi, Oct 17: The PM's meeting with the army, navy and the air force chief is an important strategy that PM Modi has adopted to understand and relate to the challenges that these forces have been facing in fighting the enemies. The first of its kind to be held, probably this conference will see the Prime Minister of our country getting involved in the defence mechanism of the country directly.

Adhering to his poll pitch of strengthening the border security to avoid infiltration, Modi hit the headlines when he was reported to have given a free hand to the three arms of the defence forces.

While the agenda of the conference is still not clear, it is believed that ceasefire violations and Sino-India relations on the Line of Actual Control would be the main point of discussion here.
