New Delhi, Oct 1: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad has been sent to Ranchi's Birsa Munda jail in connection with fodder scam case. Lalu, who was found guilty in the infamous corruption case, has been spending sleepless night behind bar as the quantum of his punishment will be announced on Oct 3.

It seems that good time of the RJD chief has come to an end. He has been disqualified as an Member of Parliament (MP) following the Supreme Court. Lalu may face minimum three years to a maximum of seven in prison. The order passed by a special CBI court completely cornered the former Bihar Chief Minister.

On the contrary, other politicians such as -- Sonia Gandhi, Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, LK Advani, Pranab Mukherjee, Rajnath Singh, Priyanka Gandhi and many others had had a completely different experience on Monday.

Good time of the RJD chief has come to an end

While the Congress President visited Karnataka where people went into a thunderous applause and cheered the UPA Chairperson. The BJP PM candidate too had a brief interaction with a huge crowd gathered at Mumbai airport on Monday.

Later the Gujarat CM inaugurated Mumbai Diamond Merchant Association's Diamond Hall at the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Bandra-Kurla Complex. Amid repeated chants of "Modi! Modi", the Gujarat chief minister said the large crowd gathered to receive him would make the government in Delhi "jittery".
