Photo war between BJP and AAP! Former sends dirty toilet pics to Kejriwal for introspection
Reportedly, BJP has written to AAP chief requesting him not to politicize the most praised initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to Hindustan times, Praveen Shankar Kapoor who is co-convenor of Delhi BJP media cell in his letter said, "While we welcome such suggestions, we feel you are politicising the issue. In your own New Delhi constituency, a number of toilet blocks are in a bad shape and require your immediate attention. We request you to first clean your constituency before concentrating on any other part of the city".
BJP also swiped at him saying that as a former Chief Minister of the Delhi, it is his responsibility also to make the campaign success, but instead he is trying his best to find faults in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign.
The party has also sent dirty pictures of toilets of areas Gole Market, Ashoka Road, and Connaught Place. These areas are part of AAP's New Delhi constituency.
This war has begun after senior leaders of AAP recently had handed around 2,500 photographs related with insanitary conditions in the national capital to the MCD officials. On the day, the fledgling party leaders said that they will not involve themselves in blame game business, rather they will do their best to make the campaign sucessful.
"BJP has been ruling MCD since last seven years and the state of cleanliness is there for all to see, but AAP is of the view that let's not squabble over the past and in keeping with the Prime Minister's call, let there be a policy of zero-tolerance against unclean Delhi," the party said.
Unconfirmed report says that BJP is making plan to expose AAP on every front. They will soon open the cudgel in AAP ruled constituency.
It seems war has opened between AAP and BJP. But the ruling party mustn't forget the aim of the campaign with which it was started. The ruling dispensation must ensure that clean India mission shouldn't become the victim of this ego tussle.
