Almora (Uttarakhand), Nov 22: BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday addressed a rally here and said that the demonetisation move was hurting people with black money.
Speaking at the event, Shah said: "I can understand that people are suffering due to demonetisation, but corrupt people with black money are suffering more."
Taking a dig at leaders opposing demonetisation, Shah said that Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee are now worried. "Narendra Modi's decision to eradicate black money has worried Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee."
Shah said that in one move Narendra Modi has tackled terrorism, black money, fake currency and corruption. "Those who do not have any black money have nothing to worry," he added.

Hitting out at Congress, Shah said: "Atalji had created Uttarakhand with a lot of love but Congress leaders have ruined the state. Till the time Congress is not rooted out of the state, till then there can be no development in Uttarakhand."
Shah had on Monday held a meeting with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the demonetisation issue. Though it is not clear what the two leaders discussed, it is believed that demonetisation figured prominently in the meeting.
