New Delhi, Jan 11: India has made it clear that it would talks with Pakistan only if concrete action is taken against the masterminds of the Pathankot attack.

Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor (NSA) had made it clear that only if the action taken by Pakistan is satisfactory will peace talks take place.

Doval said that until Pakistan takes action against those who masterminded and orchestrated the Pathankot attack, there shall be no peace talks.

He also said that peace talks will resume only if Pakistan acts against the perpetrators of the attack. He also added that the action must be satisfactory in nature for talks to resume.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently made an unscheduled visit to Pakistan, signalling his clear intent that he wanted to talk peace.

While the visit looked promising and it appeared that the two nations were ready to talk, the Jaish-e-Mohammad decided to derail it in the form of the Pathankot attack.

India after the attack had said that it expects Pakistan to act against the masterminds.

India also has sent evidence to Pakistan collected by the officials probing the Pathankot attack. Pakistan too seemed as though it was reciprocating, but at the moment it appears as though there is no real action that they have taken.
