Pathankot attack: Who said what on first terror attack of 2016
New Delhi, Jan 2: At least four terrorists and two security personnel were killed in the terror attack carried out by militants at Pathankot air base on Saturday.
The terrorists who launched the attack at the Pathankot air base are suspected to be members of the dreaded Jaish-e-Mohammad. The manner in which the terrorists entered into the air base suggests that they were planning on destroying the entire unit, sources say.
The terrorists were heavily armed and reports suggest that they had entered into India for a long haul. There is still not enough clarity about the number of men who were part of the attack.
Security officials believe that the number of terrorists could be 4 or five. There are also reports that suggest that there may be 6 to 7 terrorists.
Pathankot attack will impact Indo-Pak diplomatic relationship?
